Registered Apprenticeships are employer-driven, earn-while-you-learn training programs where apprentices receive paid on-the-job training combined with related classroom instruction. Apprentices earn progressive wages and a nationally-recognized credential upon completion. The DOL has expanded apprenticeships into tech sectors including IT, cybersecurity, and AI.
